Oscillation Animation Rendering
Oscillation animation is useful to better show the shape by tilting it a bit. This way you can see reflection moving along the shape which is good for glossy surfaces.
You can render looped oscillation animation in Boxshot by clicking Render > Osciallation Animation in the menu. You’ll see the parameters window:
Here you can control the osciallation along two axis: vertical and horizontal. The parameters sets are the same for both axis:
- Amplitude - defines the maximum angle the shape rotates;
- Speed - controls how fast the shape rotates around the axis;
- Phase - lets you shift the rotation in time.
Boxshot will display the animation in preview, so you can visually control the process.
The Duration group lets you define the animation length by providing the number of frames and how many frames per second you need. Note that you may need hundreeds of frames for smooth animation. See the animation preview to get the idea of how smooth your animation is.
When you’ve done with the setup, just click Next to setup resolution and rendering quality and queue the job for further rendering. You can render it later using Job Manager.
