Barcode 1.12 (beta)

This update adds text customization options to UPC, EAN and ISBN barcodes. It also improves update checking and operating system compatibility for both Mac and Windows.

What’s New?

The main feature of this update is the ability to customize the font and size of the text for UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13 and ISBN-13 barcodes. You can also hide the text completely, leaving just the bars.

We also improved update checking and prepared the application to the upcoming MacOS 10.15.

Starting from this version Barcode does not support 32-bit Windows operating system. If you still use one, consider keep your current version of the software.

This is a Beta Version

Note that this update is a beta version, and although it is quite stable we recommend to back up your presets in case if you need to roll back to the older version later. There shouldn’t be any compatibility issues between this and previous versions of the software, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

To backup presets, click Help->Open Generated Files Folder in the main menu, a Finder/Explorer window will pop up. Navigate one folder up and make a copy of the Saved folder located there. If you decide to restore the copy later, make sure you quit Barcode first, then simply replace the Saved folder with the copy you made earlier.
