Ai Toolbox 2.4 beta

19 Feb 2026

Ai Toolbox 2.4 beta is out with several updates to the resources collection tool, including more control over fonts and project folder structure, plus a few reliability improvements and a small bugfix.

Most of the work in this beta went into the collection tool. Fonts can now be excluded from the collected package, which is useful when they’re managed separately or simply not needed. There’s also a new option to place each collected Illustrator project into its own subfolder instead of mixing everything into a single directory.

Collection of cross-linked projects has been improved to handle file references more reliably. Error handling for problematic fonts was refined as well, so issues should now be reported more clearly during the collection process.

A bug related to dragging artwork into the Illustrator Library window was also fixed.

That’s it for today. As always, feedback is welcome.
